Our team is primarily run by the players, but there are still a lot of administrative and organizational needs that are handled by the SV Brickell Board of Directors.
Bryan Kavanagh
President | Founder | Gaffer
Truly the heart and soul of SV Brickell, Bryan is the founder and current Gaffer of the team. He began what would become SVB as nothing more than a corporate team. Recognizing opportunity, he recruited and entered the team into a Sunday adult league. The rest is history!
James Lai
Recruitment Chair
Despite balancing med school, running a lab, and starting his own company, James also somehow finds time to lead our recruitment efforts at SVB. He helps the team by bringing on great guys with exceptional talent and is directly responsible for much of the success we've enjoyed to date.
Rafi Dodo
Social Chair
When he's not busy keeping the team afloat with his exceptional centreback play, Rafi can be found intensely supporting his first true love: Sao Paolo FC. Rafi also runs our social media, with help from his significantly cooler girlfriend, and has helped grow SVB into a community.
Sam Laurin
Captain
Sam takes responsibility for on-field chemistry and team operations. He is a reluctant transplant in Miami and can often be found complaining about the heat, mosquitoes, and the lack of forest. However, he feels incredibly fortunate to have found a home here with SVB.
